Over the past few weeks our development has made a sizable investment in landscaping
at our entrance with the laying of new sod. This has been in response to your input, and out of all our desire to do our best to keep the common areas attractive, and our property values as high as possible.
In addition to maintaining the entrance, we have promoted and sponsored a Stone
Creek Yard-of-the-Month competition. During the spring and summer months we
have awarded the best looking yard the right to display a sign designating it Yard-of-the-Month. At our fall Block Party we held a drawing of all this year’s winners for a Lowe's gift certificate.
It is our intention is promote a sense of community and to do everything we can to
foster a sense of pride in Stone Creek. Our development has reached the stage of
life when a little additional effort is required to maintain the appearance and the value of the properties; a little paint here, replacement of a broken picket there, removal of a dead limb or two… you get the picture. A critical eye and a few minutes of light work will go a long way to yield great results.
It is our responsibility as the Homeowners’ Board, your elected representatives, to
remind you that it takes effort from everyone, and to thank you for all that you’re doing to maintain your property.
All of us want to experience the greatest possible sense of satisfaction in our homes, and to be able to point with pride to the overall appearance of our neighborhood. Stone Creek is a great place to live, and together we can keep it that way – and make it even better.
One important reminder...
Please do not blow or sweep (or allow your lawn service) grass clippings or leaves in the
street. The runoff from our yards drains into the storm water system and from there into our retention pond. Grass clippings clog the outlet grating of our pond and that results in flooding – the very thing the system is designed to prevent.
Thanks again for being great
neighbors!
Your Stone Creek Homeowners Board.
