I am Stuart Harle, your new Homeowner’s Board President. In September I was elected along with Penny Pate as Vice President, Pattie Hutton as Treasurer, and Denise Curtiss as Secretary. Since taking office we have worked on several important items of which I want to make you aware, but first I’d like offer my personal thanks for some hard work already put in by the rest of our board. First and foremost, I would like to thank Penny Pate for the new neighborhood directories. Each household should have received one by now. Thanks also to Denise Curtiss for her work on our new neighborhood web site. One item of great concern has been a very high expenditure on water The problem was found to be a number of broken sprinkler heads. We have been working with the Bixby Water Authority and our lawn maintenance company to recoup some of the money spent on wasted water, and on establishing some preventive measure to minimize or avoid any future losses. Another area of concern is the buildup of large debris in the drainage easement along the east border of our development, and the clearance of debris from that watershed and from the outlets of the detention pond. Plans are being established now to clean out those buildups. We plan to have some much needed tree maintenance performed at the entrance and by the retention pond and we are talking bids forlawn service. Our treasurer, Pattie Hutton, has been working hard on collecting past dues owed from homeowners. Pattie has also worked on a budget for the new year. Please understand that your dues are extremely important. They enable us to attractively maintain the common areas of our subdivision which goes a long way to uphold our property values. If you have a concern about anything in our neighborhood please contact one of us on the homeowner’s board. If it is within our power we will take action on your concern. Thank you for giving us the pleasure to serve you and help to make Stone Creek Park an even better place to call home.
